Welcome to the 2021 Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers! I have a slimline card for you today with some Mama Elephant products.

I stamped and die cut images from using the Hot Cocoa stamp and die set, colored everything simply with copic markers and adhered them to a panel die cut with Trinity Stamps Slimline Striped Frame die set.

Thank you for stopping by- have a fun time hopping and joining in the coffee card making this week!

National Bubble Tea Day Hop

Welcome to the Trinity Stamps and Coffee Loving Cardmakers Bubble Tea Hop! It is so lovely to have a great company and a great group come together to celebrate Bubble Tea. I drank Bubble Tea for the first time last year and enjoyed it! After we tried it, my daughter and I made my own boba to use.

The card I made uses one brand new product that is being released TODAY- it is the Slimline Burst Builder die and it is in the shop now :). I paired it with the Slimline Quilted Cover die and the Summertime Sips die.

I decided to make a shaker card with the black embellishment “bubbles” floating around. I die cut all the pieces for the shaker out of acetate, vellum and heavy weight cardstock.

Finally I added a hello sentiment die cut with the Hello Bootiful die set, cut out of gold adhesive foil paper.

Coffee Glitter Slimline Card

Hello there, Christine here with a slimline card using the new Coffee Spring | Summer kit from Super Sponsor STAMPlorations. I highly recommend the kit- it was packed with several stencils, a stamp set, stickers, cardstock/emphemera and lots of die cuts.  I used a die cut, stencil and a sentiment from the emphemera on today’s card. First, I used the slimline sized floral stencil that came in the kit, and ink blended dried marigold, spun sugar and scattered straw distress oxide inks over the stencil. I then put glitter paste (Couture Creations) immediately over the inked portions before removing the stencil.  The photo below shows the amount of glitter on the card. I then did simple copic coloring on one of the die cuts in the kit.  I used YR67, YR63 on the leaves, YR21, Y21, Y30, YR01, YR00, R00, R20 for the flowers. I cut up the sentiments in the paper pack and glued it on with double sided foam tape. Finally, I added a few embellishments to add some accents to finish the card.  Thank you so much for stopping by!

2021 Spring | Summer Coffee Lover Blog Hop

Welcome to the 2021 Spring | Summer Coffee Lover Blog Hop that runs from Friday, March 19 – Friday, March 26! If you have come from the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog, you are in the right place.

Today I have a simple slimline card using products from super sponsors Gina K, Concord & 9th and Trinity Stamps.

I used the Gina K Mini Wreath Builder for the first time and did mostly 1/4 turns instead of 1/8 turns. I used Concord & 9th inks in sea glass, sorbet, sprout & parsley to create the wreaths and decorated them with embellishments from Trinity Stamps (Java Stop clay embellishments).

I kept the card itself simple by using some cardstock (that I had in my stash) die cut with the Trinity Stamps Slimline Card Series: Stitched Card Panels and Windows die. To finish the card off, I used a coffee cup image and sentiment from the La-La Land Crafts stamp Java Nice Day and colored the coffee with copic marker E31- and that’s it!

Happy Easter Coffee Card

Hello there, Christine here.  I have an interactive, easel Easter Card using products that I got from Super Sponsor Ellen Hutson (Poppy Stamps), Simon Says Stamp (Avery Elle) and Lawn Fawn.  I added a coffee cup in the Easter Basket, which would be the perfect Easter Basket for me (chocolate & coffee). First I die cut the basket from woodgrain cardstock (I used what I had in my stash) using the Poppy Stamps Woven Basket Pop Up Easel die set. I also cut the 2 piece card base and the basket outline, the leaves and the bow from the same die set using cardstock I had in my stash (I sort by color and don’t have the brand names).  I ink blended some distress oxide ink in gathered twigs on the outer edges of the basket to create some depth.  I assembled the card and put a stopper on the card (as seen below) so that the bottom part of the easel had something to catch on to when the card is opened. I stamped and die cut the coffee cup using the Avery Elle Cool Beans stamp & die set out of 110lb Neenah cardstock in solar white and stamped and die cut the coffee sleeve onto kraft paper.  I die cut the Easter eggs using the Lawn Fawn Mini Easter Eggs die set all out of 110lb Neenah cardstock in solar white and then ink blended either distress oxide ink in scattered straw or flamingo kitsch; I put some glitter paste over some of the pieces of the die cut eggs. Finally I stamped and die cut some adorable bunnies from the Lawn Fawn Easter Before ‘n Afters stamp & die set. I kept the coloring really simple, I used copic marker R20 for the egg and Stampin Up markers in Dark & Light Crumbcake for the bunnies themselves.  Finally I stamped a sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Easter Before ‘n Afters stamp set onto a banner die cut that I had in my stash. Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope that you will have a crafty and caffeinated day!

Cozy Coffee Mug Card

Hello there, Christine here. Today I have a very cozy coffee card using products from Super Sponsor Trinity Stamps and Simon Says Stamps. I love the stamp the Puppy’s Quilt stamp from artist Anita Jeram and the Colorado Craft Company because it not only is such a sweet scene, but reminds me of my two sweet dogs. First I die cut a card base with the Trinity Stamps Coffee Mug Card die set out of 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock.  I then stamped the image from the Puppy’s Quilt stamp set with copic friendly ink from Lawn Fawn (crunchy leaf).  I kept the copic coloring simple and mostly wanted the sweet pup to be the star of the show.  The puppy was colored with E44, W0 and W3. The wallpaper was colored with R20 and R32.  The quilt was colored with V22, V20, G28, G24, R14, YR21.  The coffee was colored with E31 & E34. I used a sentiment from one of the Simon Says Stamps Sentiment Strips to finish up the card.   I hope you like the card- thank you so much for stopping by.

CLC and Sweet and Sassy Stamps Blog Hop

Welcome to CLC’s collaboration with Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps! I have 2 simple cards today that were made with Sweet ‘n Sassy digital stamps.

The first card uses their digital stamp Snowman’s Gift with a sentiment from Snowman Soup Sentiments. I printed the sentiment and image onto Neenah 80lb cardstock, die cut it with a stitched rectangle in my stash and mounted it onto a die cut cardstock panel from Waffle Flower and an A2 card base. I colored it with copic markers: bunny (W0 & W3), sweater (YG63 & YG61), snowman (BG0000 & BV000) and scarf (B66 & B63).

The second card uses the Snowman with Skates digital stamp and a sentiment from Snowman Soup Sentiments. Again I printed the sentiment and image onto Neenah 80lb cardstock, die cut it with a stitched rectangle in my stash and mounted it onto a die cut cardstock panel from My Favorite Things cardstock and an A2 card base. I colored it with copic markers: skates (W0 & W3), scarf & hat (B66 & B63), snowman (BG0000 & BV000).

The next stop on this hop is Dana! Please click on this link here to get to her blog. Thank you so much for stopping by- I hope that you enjoyed the cards. Wishing you a crafty day!

Picnic With Coffee Card

Hi everyone!  I am so excited to be here for my post on the CLC DT! I have an interactive card for you of a picnic with COFFEE!  I grew up partly in Germany and pretty much daily at around 3pm is “Kaffeetrinken / Coffee Drinking” (similar to tea time in the UK) that is usually served with a cake.  When I was younger I would just, of course, eat the cake!

I made a picnic scene with the adorable mice from the Crazy Antics stamp set coupled with the Slide on Over Maze die. I added coffee cups from the Love You A Latte stamp and die set  that slide around the picnic.

I stamped the Crazy Antics stamp set (Memento tuxedo black ink on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock) and then die cut all the images with Crazy Antics die set.  The mice were colored with W3 and W00 copic markers. I also stamped and die cut the images from the Love You A Latte and Birthday Before N’Afters stamp sets in the same way and then copic colored them with Y21, YR21 and R20 copic markers.  I die cut a rectangle to form the picnic blanket out of older Lawn Fawn plaid cardstock; the grass was die cut with Trinity Stamps Slimline Series: The Great Outdoors Borders & Builders die set using green cardstock I had in my stash.

To put the card together, I die cut a maze into the plaid cardstock and foam- and then added slider elements to the coffee cups prior to gluing all the parts together.  I stamped a sentiment on a banner and added a few sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!!

New Design Team- Coffee Loving Cardmakers

Hello dear coffee-loving crafters! I am so thrilled to be joining the CLC DT! I truly love this group- all the caffeine-filled goodness on the blog and Facebook group perk me up as much as coffee does!

A little bit about myself, I am originally from New York, but I live currently in North Carolina with my hubs, teenage daughter and 2 doggies. I love coffee, drink several cups a day and collect coffee stamps (many of which are not for cardmaking). My daughter and I have always done arts and crafts but my love for paper originally comes from origami. I have also done scrapbooking, but fell in love with cardmaking about 3 years ago.  I particularly love interactive and slimline cards and will try my best to make as many as I can.

Here are a few cards that I made for CLC as a guest:
