Coffee Loving Cardmakers

International Tea Day with CLC

I’m celebrating National Tea Day with the CLC team with an A2 card that uses lots of products from My Favorite Things that you can purchase from Super Sponsor Ellen Hutson. I used the MFT Puppy Love dies, the Christmas Cheer Paper Pad, the Holly Berries Dies, Birdie Brown Alphabet & Numbers Die-namics, Sweet Snowflakes dies and a stamp & die set from Super Sponsor Lawn Fawn: Thanks a Latte (that has coffee and tea stamps & dies).

First I die cut all the puppy pieces from the MFT Puppy Love dies in different color cardstocks. I glued the pieces together as shown below to create a super happy puppy. I die cut the sentiment from copper metallic cardstock with the Birdie Brown Alphabet & Numbers Die-namics. The background cardstock from the Christmas Cheer Paper Pad was cut with a stitched rectangle die I had in my stash. I die cut the holly berries & leaves with the Holly Berries Dies out of red & green cardstock in my stash. The snowflakes and snow mound were cut with the Sweet Snowflakes dies out of glitter cardstock I had in my stash.

The tea cup was stamped copic marker friendly Lawn Fawn ink in crunchy leaf and colored with R14, R22 & YR27 copic markers.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope that you will enter our contest for National Tea Day! Wishing you a warm and happy day!

Bundles of Hugs Card

Today I have an interactive slimline card that I’m entering into the 2020 Card Design Superstar-Innovation Master. I used the My Favorite Things Snow Buddies stamp set with the interactive die Meet Me in the Middle die.
I stamped all the images with Memento tuxedo black ink and did simple copic coloring. I use Sandy Allnock’s style of coloring snow with copic colors to make the snow drifts. I die cut all the parts for the Meet Me in the Middle interactive mechanism out of Neenah 110 lb cardstock. I then just placed all the images in a pleasing arrangement that allow the snowman and doggy to make snow angels.

I hope that you like the card- thank you for stopping by!

Early Christmas Card

I wanted to enter another card into My Favorite Things Superstar card challenges.  I’ve had some My Favorite Things stamps that I have wanted to use, so this was the perfect excuse!Print

I didn’t start out making a Christmas card, I wanted to make a birthday card.  I went through several iterations of a birthday card using MFT Bitty Bears, but didn’t like any of them.  So I picked up another stamp set and started fresh.  I love the Dashing Deer stamp set and really wanted to do watercolor, so here is the end result:

I actually watercolored with Tim Holtz distress inks and a sparkle pen, rather than a waterbrush.  Finally I added some Nuvo drops & MFT gold cardstock and voila- a card!  Thank you for stopping by!

My Favorite Things Shaker Card

Enlight19

I have loved these Bitty Bears from My Favorite Things the moment I saw them!  They are chubby and CUTE- I just want to squeeze them (in a hug sort of way).  I decided to make a shaker card with supplies (shaker that I had recently bought from My Favorite Things.  I only used items from the My Favorite Things store, except for the black ink, Copic markers, Tim Holtz Oxide Inks (background for the snow globe), various cardstocks, and sequins.
