Trinity-Wow2I am thrilled to be part of the WOW- Trinity Stamps Collaboration Hop!  WOW has such pretty powders and I chose to use ones that had a lot of sparkle in them (the more sparkle the better, right?)

First I stamped the images from the Winter Botanical stamp set in a very pale grey ink and die cut them with the corresponding dies.  These images can really be used year round by just changing the images you use and the colors!  Here I chose a spring palette of pinks, yellows, oranges and greens of WOW embossing powders and Copic colors.

Once I had all the images stamped and cut, I copic colored each image with the 4 colors you see here (G43, Y21, YR21 and R20).  I did simple coloring as I knew that the embossing powders and embellishments would provide extra depth and interest.

Next I re-stamped each image with Versamark ink and then heat embossed with the desired WOW embossing powder.  An easy way to re-stamp is to save the negative cut and just pop the die cut images back into the large negative cut that is left behind! I used the following lovely WOW embossing powders:  Pink Fizz, In the Pink, Golden Flame, Under the Sea and Sand Dunes.

Then I simply rearranged the die cuts and used Gina K connect glue to adhere each image.  For the large pink flowers I used double sided foam adhesive to provide a little extra dimension.  That’s it- easy peasy!

  32. I love that you took a holiday stamp and made it an everyday stamp. The soft pastels and the touches of glitter makes this into a beautiful Spring wreath. Great job!
