I wanted to make a highly interactive card for my dad’s birthday, so I chose the delightful charming frog symphony stamp set from Waffle Flower coupled with the interactive pivot pop-up mechanism from Lawn Fawn (all supplies are listed below).
I first prepared the pivot pop-up for the inside of the card- to see a detailed video to assemble the pivot pop-up, please see this YouTube video from Simon Says Stamp/Lawn Fawn. I decorated the pop-up with alphas (please use any you have) to spell out “Happy Birthday”.
I then set off to create the frog symphony as I had envisioned using the Waffle Flower Toadally stamp set. I stamped the frogs on thick cardstock, fussy cut them & colored them in. I blended some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks, broken china in the sky and peacock feathers & mermaid lagoon for the pond. Some grass from the Lawn Fawn meadow borders die provided a nice border for the pond and finally I used some Nuvo clear drops to create some random drops.
I leave you with a card I made for my uncle that was made in a similar manner. Enjoy!
